Easy Christmas Lights Kids Craft

Today Miss Molly made up some of these fun Christmas light gift bags to fill with treats for her cousins. This was a huge hit, since she loves any craft involving paint!

Basically I just used a black sharpie to draw a black light strand with little black ends for the "lights."

Then I gave Molly little plates of red, blue, yellow and green paint for her to paint the lights onto the strands.

Ta Da! Super cute kid made gift bags! I saw the light painting idea over at Meet the Dubiens.

  1. OMGosh that is adorable! :) I may have to make some of those for our cookie exchange this weekend! :) Or you could totally make some fun gift wrap doing that using the brown paper!!!

  6. I love love love this craft, but REALLY love the idea of the identical craft only on simple white absorbent fabric squares (like vintage dish towels) as gifts for aunties, grammies, and teachers! CUTE, immortalizes the 'teeny-ness' of your kids, and ends up with a darling craft that is usable and actually adorable to display at the holidays! Gosh, even on plates and platters... I LOVE your design! Could use it on a ton of gifts! Pinned!
