Rainbow Pancakes!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
The girls loved these fun rainbow pancakes we made this morning, and I am still in love with the fun colors. YUM! I saw this great idea over at The Idea Room a few months ago, and thought today was a perfect day to give it a try.

I just made up a batch of pancake mix, and then split it up into six bowls, and used food coloring to color each one a different color of the rainbow. Then just poured it onto the griddle and made up some colorful pancakes. I think the batter even looks pretty!

Molly was SO excited to have a red pancake!

Even Nora joined in the fun and polished off a nice green one. :)

Rainbow Fleece Scarf!

When I saw this great idea over at Childmade, I got right on it... I mean, how could I not with such fun colors! I should have known I would get frustrated, since my sewing machine has issues with zig zag stitches, but I toughed it out to make this beauty for Miss Molly! The sewing job isn't getting any awards, lol, but if you had a good machine it would be pretty easy.
Check out this great tutorial for making one of your own. She even makes an adorable pot of gold for one end of the scarf! I was mad at my sewing machine by then, so Molly got 2 clouds. :)

TP Roll Shamrocks!

I was thinking today I needed a few decorations for St. Patrick's Day, and after finding this awesome idea over at Childmade, I quick made up a few Shamrocks. Each shamrock only used one TP roll, some hot glue, and a little leftover green spray paint. Head over here for a great tutorial. We all know I love toilet paper roll crafts, check out this wreath I made if you want another fun TP roll craft! :)

St. Patrick's Day Gift

We made this cute craft we saw at Far from Super Mom, for Molly to give to her storytime teacher today. I know it's a bit late for others to make for St. Patrick's Day, but it is painted with chalkboard paint, so I thought it would be so cute to make for other holiday's and events and fill with different fun candy or gifts.
