Why I Blog...

I've been missing from blogworld for awhile, but I definitely miss it, and after chatting with a great new friend last week I am ready to be back into blogging. I won't go into all the details of why I stopped for a bit, it just frustrates me, but basically I think that we all need to be nice. Seriously, being a mom is a hard enough job without other moms judging each other. Usually if I get a mean comment here or there, I just delete it and don't think anything of it, but when I started getting emails pointing out things I was doing wrong and insinuating it could have something to do with Molly's tumor (which is just uneducated and ridiculous), I needed a break. Seriously, why can't we all be nice, it is not our place to judge others, if you think you are a better parent or you don't like my ideas, that is fine, just don't do them. Sorry, that is my rant.

Basically, I just wanted to let you know why I blog. I LOVE blogworld, and get so many amazing ideas from other people blogs. So when we try out a great idea that worked well for us, or we loved, I blog to pass it on to others. I think it holds me accountable to actually do some of the ideas I find, and hopefully someone else will find the idea on my blog and love it to!

  1. Seriously, someone said that some of the things you have done could have caused Molly's tumor??? Whhhaaa? WOW. That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard! I love you, and am so glad you are back! :)

  3. I'm amazed at the ignorance of some people. I can't imagine emailing someone to tell them their faults and insulting them as a parent....when I don't know them in real life. Which I hope was the issue....those you don't know in real life. Your daughters are beautiful and you are a MUCH better mom than I will ever be! Hugs to you!!

  5. I can not believe that someone would say that some of the things you were or are doing caused Mollys Brain Tumor. that is just ridiculous. I know it is hard not to let things like that get to you (I have heard it all about me working and putting Mallorie in daycare while I sleep and everything else about how we are raising her.) but you know that I am always here if you want to talk. I hope everything is ok and call me soon. we need a fun night!

  7. I just happened upon your blog this week and was so inspired, I have two kids that are about the same age as yours and I some times feel like everyone is a better mom than I am. So I was very happy to see that others have "hard days" too, not that I am glad abut it, but it makes me think I can make it and things will be ok. you are a very great lady with great ideas that I love! hope you continue to have fun and share your ideas! Thanks!

  9. oh man Kimmie, don't let me know who that person is or I'll probably fly back to Michigan just to disembowel them. Most people are crap turds and become more confident criticizing others via the internet because they can cower behind their computer. I bet you that individual would never have the balls to say something like that to your face. And if they did, i can teach you some of my ninja skills (I learned them from molly, incidentally:) I don't know a better mother out there who is equally a caring and loyal friend like you, period. So blog on, cupcake.

On an entirely different note, how the crap do I change my display name from "Cousin Boochie" to something normal, like "Sarah"??
