For this weeks stART project, we read the Spot's Magical Christmas. Molly loves everything to do with dogs right now, so we have been enjoying the Spot books from the library. This book is a pretty long one for Spot, but she loved it.
In the book Spot meets two of Santa's reindeer and has to help them find Santa's missing sleigh before Christmas Eve. So, for our project, we made these hand and foot print reindeer that I saw on the blog Tired, Need Sleep. This was so much fun, Molly absolutly loved having her feet and hands traced, she thought it was the funniest thing ever. And of course, the highlight was gluing on the nose. :) Now if she could just remember they are reindeer, she keeps calling them her moose!

Your reindeer art project came out really cute too! Emily would enjoy this book, she loves the spot books, I will have to see if I can find it at the library.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up to stART this week :0)
We made those last week, but with reverse colors to yours - I like the idea of a Christmas moose too though, surely there's a story out there about one :)
ReplyDeleteWe did this last year, but with paint. It was so cute!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! First thing I said was, we have that book! We have already read it several times this season. It will be a fun project to do next week. :)
