We are very happy to report that we are out of surgery and everything went great. The doctor said it was the best it could have gone. It looks like they are pretty sure in is not cancerous! We are beyond trilled and relieved. We will know for sure sometime next week, but either way, things there look good.
Right now we are in her room waiting for her MRI which is scheduled for 8:45pm tonight and will take around an hour. After that they will start to wake her up. It is really awful and hard right now watching the ventilator breath for her. She also has a little temperature, but they are not worried, they said it is just from having brain surgery. (that still sounds SO crazy) She also has been having spontaneous eye movement and sort of waking up and crying and coughing, but is not really awake. This very, very hard on me.
We feel we have made it past so many hurdles so far. The biggest worry left is the 1 in 5 chance that she will develop posterior fossa syndrome from the surgery and loose the ability to talk and her cordination. We are praying hard right now, that that doesn't happen, but are ready for whatever lies ahead.
Thank you to everyone for your love and prayer, we couldn't have made it this far without them, please keep our little Molly in your thoughts.

Sad News! Pray for Molly
We got some really bad news this morning, and need lots of prayers. Molly had an MRI this morning which revealed that she has a brain tumor the size of a lime on the back of her head. We are still in a state of shock.
She has been admitted into the Pediatric ICU for the rest of the week, and as of right now they are planning on doing surgery on Friday. We are meeting again with the surgeon tomorrow, and are really nervous, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
Visit our Care Page for more on our journey this week.

SLOWLY Organizing!
Over the past few weeks I have been working on my house (and life, hee hee) to get more organized! I am getting there very slowly but surely. Each day I am doing one thing to make things more organized and run smoother.
One of my favorite things from this week is in the hair drawer in the bathroom. I put all Molly's hairbands in an ice cube tray. It is so nice to have them all sorted kind of by color like this so I don't have to dig through the bowl looking for a pink one! I actually used two trays and stacked them in a drawer in the bathroom. LOVE how it is working out!

"Almost" Wordless Wednesday!
Is it still considered child labor, if they beg you to let them wash the dishes? :)

Molly's New Work Area!
I also am in LOVE with my new area for Molly's daily learning activities. I took Carisa from 1+1+1=1's inspiration and got this beautiful organizer from IKEA (love that store). It has worked so amazing for us. Molly loves having everything in it's own drawer, and she can be more self leading. She gets out one drawer at a time, we do the activity and then she knows she has to pick it back up before she gets out another drawer. It also makes it so much easier for me to set activities up for her, each night I just change a few out. LOVE it. :)

Make your own coasters!
This weekend I finally got a chance to make some coasters for the leaning desks in my dining room. I used this tutorial from Little Lizard King as inspiration. I'm loving the Mod Podge this week!
They were so fun and easy to make, I used scrapbook paper I thought would match the valances I made for that room really well, you can see them here.
So happy with how they turned out, we even got a chance to use them today.

We are definitely in the "Terrible Twos" stage!!!
Molly is actually 2 and a 1/2, but I am just learning what everyone means when they say, "Terrible Twos!" Don't get me wrong, we have had plenty of "2 year old" moments, but for the most part she is good and polite and I can handle the tantrum and time outs that occur.
But.... this past week she is seriously testing things! Some of the things she says, my mouth just hangs open, I have no idea where they came from. The biggest problem is she is SO stubborn. Today she even missed lunch with her cousins because she was still throwing a tantrum in her room.
Here are some of my favorite (or should I say least favorite) things that come out of here mouth lately...
-I'll never be happy again!
-I just want to cry and kick in my room!
-I just want to be sad!
-I'm never going to say I'm sorry!
-I just want _____(insert one parent) to go away!
-Afternoons make me sick! (seriously, they lying has to stop)
-I don't want to wear pants, they make me sneeze!
Oh dear, the list is out of control this week!
Here is what I walk around the corner to see today, her 2 minute time out, which she ended up turning into a 3o minute tantrum made her fall asleep in the corner! Seriously, she was snoring!
She is so stubborn and just doesn't listen or give in. I don't know who she gets that from, lol (nervous laugh). But hours later when she is being her sweet self again, we hear...
-Hugging doesn't make us cry
-I'm happy again
-Let's be big girls mommy
-Thanks for making me a snack mommy, it's perfect, lol
-Etc.

Easter Peeps Craft and Egg Hunt!
This afternoon it rained for a few hours, so we decided to quick make up these cute peeps gifts for tomorrow. We just put a row of peeps in a snack sized zip lock bag and stapled card stock on the top, then stapled on this cute printable, Happy Easter to one of my favorite Peeps. You can get this printable for free at eighteen25, where I got this great idea.
I think they turned out SO cute. I can't wait to give them out to our family tomorrow.
And I had to share the pictures from Molly's first Easter Egg Hunt this morning. She had so much fun collecting her eggs. The church had the hunt set up so great, instead of the mad rush for eggs, they had each of the little kids find one of each color egg (6 eggs in all) and then trade them in for a gift bag at the end. It was nice to know that they had enough eggs for each kid to get each color so we didn't have to hurry.
She was very happy to show off her good work, and hasn't stopped talking about it all day! Here she is looking a bit tired. I'm not sure exactly why, but she has been SO tired lately, even though she has been sleeping and napping well. I'm guessing it is either those pesky molars that are almost done coming in, or her eyes are starting to get a little worse and are starting to bother her a bit. But either way, she still had a blast hunting for eggs.

Sew Something Saturday! Car seat Strap Covers!
Now that it is finally starting to get warmer here, and we had a few days without coats, I was noticing Molly and Nora's car seat straps rubbing on there necks and leaving red marks.
I remembered seeing this idea for making car seat strap covers over at Obsessively Stitching, she has a great tutorial on how to make your own. So I gathered up some velcro, potholders and iron on cuteness(just to make them more girly), and got to work. Seriously, SO easy, it only took about 10 minutes start to finish. :) Happy Sewing!
