St. Patrick's Day Gift

We made this cute craft we saw at Far from Super Mom, for Molly to give to her storytime teacher today. I know it's a bit late for others to make for St. Patrick's Day, but it is painted with chalkboard paint, so I thought it would be so cute to make for other holiday's and events and fill with different fun candy or gifts.

Tip Tuesday! Rainbow Cupcakes!

I broke down and followed the trend, I've been seeing these AWESOME rainbow cupcakes being made by everyone right now for St. Patrick's Day. I thought they looked so fun, so I made some up since we were having one of my friends and her kids over today for lunch.

You can get the recipe at Family Fun, it really was super easy. All you need is a white cake mix and food coloring. You can add whip cream on top. I was planning to add this but ended up not, and they were still super good! (and 4 ww's points each for my fellow counters)

Spotlight Sunday! Artwork Display Bar

I got this great idea to use a curtain rod and ring clips to make a way to display artwork in Molly's room from Frills, Fluff and Trucks. I love how it looks in Molly's room, and she absolutely loves picking out what artwork she wants to hang up to look at.

I got this silver rod and clips from Target. It took about 2 minutes to hang up, super easy and cheap. Love it!

Sew Something Saturday! Tic-Tac-Toe

Over at During Quiet Time, they had the idea to sew a super cute tic-tac-toe board. If you've ever seen my game closet you know I have an addiction to games, so I knew I had to make this straight away. I had some left over flower print, blue fabric, and bias tape from some of my other "Sew Something Saturday" projects that worked out just perfect for this one.

Head over to During Quiet Time, and see how to sew your own.

Happy Sewing! For more great "Sew Something Saturday" projects scroll down to the bottom of my blog and click on Sew Something Saturday. Enjoy!

Frugal Friday! Tip Toes in West Michigan

Tip Toes is one of my favorite stores in Holland, Michigan. It is an adorable baby boutique and every time I go into in, I love EVERYTHING! It isn't a frugal store, but definitely quality products and worth shopping at.

So, when I got an email that they were having a drawing for prizes for anyone who comes into the store from now until St. Patrick's Day, I knew we had to stop in. They are giving away $3 and $5 gift certificates, 25% OFF your purchase coupons, and one $100 gift card! And best of all everyone is a winner! LOVE IT!!!

Stop by, you can still get one of these great prizes until next Wednesday.

I made my husband stop by while we was out running errands, and he won the $100 gift certificate! SERIOUSLY!!! He is the luckiest guy ever, I am thinking there are some cute hair bows and new cloth diapers in my future.
