Menu Monday!

This week is going to be a crazy week around our household, so I'm planning some super easy meals. It turns out Molly has the chicken pox! Crazy! So she needs to stay home for the next 7 days, and also my husband is going to Chicago for a few days for work. So not a normal meal week, but here is what I'm planning...

Monday- Chicken Nuggets
Tuesday- Easy Grands Pepperoni Pizzas
Wednesday- Chicken Caesar Wraps
Thursday- Bean Quesadillas
Friday- Order Pizza

Sew Something Saturday!

I've been dying to try this super cute fabric flower tutorial over at Sew Ritzy-Titzy. It is turns out so adorable, and hardly takes up any fabric. I made this one to pin to Molly's book bag. But now I'm thinking I'm going to need to make some for my own purses and coats.

Head on over to her great tutorial, and give it a try. I'm sure you'll love how it turns out as much as me. Happy Sewing!

Frugal Friday Fun!

Molly got a gift certificate to Build-A-Bear for her birthday, so we decided to take her to pick out her bear, she had SO much fun, and is still so proud of "her" baby panda.

Here is a link for $5 off a $10 purchase at Build-A-Bear, which really is a good deal since you can get quite a few bears for only $10-$12.
And me being a proud mom, I have to share a whole bunch of pictures of the fun...

Muffin Tin Monday!

The theme this week over at Muffin Tip Monday was kebabs! I thought this was such a fun idea, Molly LOVED not having to use a fork. :) Here is our muffin tin. (I only have a 12 cup tin, so we just used the bottom half)Back Row: String cheese, Bananas, Chicken Nuggets
Front Row: Grapes, Mini Marshmallows, Ketchup

Here is Molly Cakes enjoying her Muffin Tin and eating with toothpicks instead of forks. And yes, the cat is patiently waiting for her to finish, so he can have what's left. :) Embarrassing, but that's how we roll at this house. he he

Sunday's Spotlight

I love carving pumpkins, and I thought this was so fun. Give virtual pumpkin carving a try here:

Virtual Pumpkin Carving!

I found this idea from, Sprinkled With Blessing From Above, she has many more great sites for giving virtual pumpkin carving a try.
This a super fun activity I've been playing with all afternoon, and I'm sure kids would love too. :) Hope everyone is enjoying the fun fall activities!!!

Tip Tuesday!

This week I needed to find a way to organize Molly's crayons, colored pencils, and scrap paper in an easy to use place. She is very into coloring on the little scrap paper that I use for notes and such, so I put this little "tool box" as Molly calls it together.

It is actually a fork, spoon, knife and napkin holder for picnics. I don't think I've ever actually used it for it's intended purpose, so this was a perfect way to put it to good use. It is working so good as her "tool box" that she even doesn't mind helping clean it up!
